In an increasingly hostile nation for immigrants, we aim to inform the public and immigrant communities on navigating ICE, immigration policies, and hate.
Remember, you are not alone, you are valued and loved.
Without you, our nation would not be what it is.
Immigrants make America 'great.'
The Start of the Trump Era
Donald Trump was elected in a minority in 2016 - in fact, Hillary Clinton had three million more votes than Mr Trump. Since Mr Trump's first term in office, rhetoric targeting immigrants - especially immigrants of ethnic minorities - began to thrive in the United States. No one could have predicted that such a bigoted and hateful insurrectionist could return in 2024, however, America elected Mr Trump again. Now in 2025 with only a few days into his second term, Mr Trump has upended American institutions by attempting to take away our most fundamental rights - the right to citizenship. As a recent permanent resident, I hope this webpage can serve as a resource for those in need.
The United States was founded on the principles of rights for all Americans. Over the past centuries, as our predecessors fought hard for true equality, this value of America was affirmed countless times. There is no place for hate in America, and no matter who you are, we accept you for exactly that. We do not judge, prejudice, or blame; instead, we love, support, and empathise. This current administration does not reflect America's most treasured values, and for the next four years, the American people will tell their leaders that we want a progressive, inclusive, and loving nation.

Immigrants: Know Your Rights
And Remember...
Choose Love Over Fear
Please stay calm and do not resist physically.
Keep doors closed - opening them does not give any authority the permission to come inside - but it is safer to keep your doors shut.
Remember no matter what, you have the constitutional right to remain silent
Do not let them come inside unless they have a warrant signed by a JUDGE or MAGISTRATE, a warrant of removal/deportation (Form I-205) is not a valid search warrant.
Ask them for their names and identifications.
Do not lie or falsify documents.
Speak to an attorney before signing anything or making any decisions.
Remember - the police are your enemies and not your friends - no matter how 'friendly' they seem.
Remember you have the right to remain silent.
Do not resist, run from, argue, fight, or obstruct the officer in any circumstances.
Do not lie.
You do not have to produce any immigration documents or respond to any questions regarding your immigration or citizenship status.
If you are operating a motor vehicle, you must produce a driver licence, registration certificate, and insurance ID card.
In select states, you may be mandated to produce your name and date of birth.

The process works, essentially, in two steps, the petition and the application. You need a petitioner to file as your basis for lawful permanent resident status. Some popular petitions include I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, I-140, Petition for Alien Worker, and I-526, Petition by Standalone Investor. After your petition is approved and you are up-to-date on the visa bulletin, you may file DS-260 for an immigrant visa to come to the United States as an immigrant.
